🌠Oracle💫

My entry for @bluejay-flies's design contest! the theme being galaxy is exactly my forte and I was quite excited to make my character!

His name is Oracle and they are a protector of space, they have a nebula lion mane and a star in place of an eye as well as one her chest and tail, I have a teeny bit of backstory planed but it's still in the works. (I really like this guy :3)

Thank you guys so much for the 300 followers! TBH I’m not sure why people have been following me recently due to my lack of content, but I really appreciate it <3

I feel like it’s become a sort of tradition on my blog, so to no one’s surprise, it’s time for another Design Contest!!

The rules are pretty much the same as last time, but for any newcomers or those who need a refresher, you can find them (and the theme picture!) below 👇

(oh also, in your comment to apply make sure to add the code word somewhere in there so I know you read all the instructions! I’ll hide it somewhere in the text ^^)

Please reblog this so everyone who might want to join has the chance! I’d love to make this a community wide event.

Rules

You’ll design a pokemon character that somehow related to the theme! You can go as crazy or simplistic as you like, so whatever sounds the most fun to you

Anyone can join! Even if you feel your art skills aren’t great, the contest will be judged on design, not art skill, so feel free to jump in.

You’ll have about two weeks to get your design in (January 7th!), but that’s a really loose deadline. (Code word jump scare! Include the word blue in your comment) I’m always happy to give extensions, just make sure to dm me if you need one

The winner(s) will receive a drawing of their character from me!

ALL designs are yours to keep!

All winners will receive a drawing of their character from me! Since my motivation comes and goes I can’t guarantee a certain quality, but you will at least get a colored drawing! We’ll start with First and Second place, and depending on the amount of people who join, I’ll add more.

“Encounter with the Gamemaster” (Mar 15, 2025)

I participated in @truegreen7_ron 's fakemon design contest and got 9th place 🙀🙀 im very happy with the design but i didn't think it was gonna rank that high... Safe to say i got pretty excited when i watched the video and saw it sitting at the top 10 😸 it was pretty fun designing this beast and im thankful for the opportunity 🌞💙

Did a thing for @bluejay-flies 's design contest...

I know everyone is doing Mewtwos and Mews but I actually have a little character that I've been hoarding for a while!

This is Onyx, a Support Pokémon!

Short version is she's a Gaian Umbreon, and a shiny, thus the blue rings and purple eyes! Her moves also glitter, because I said so.

(Her boyfriend Jasper is a normal Gaian Espeon, I swear.)

Hope yall like the design, I went a little nuts with her lol.

I have lore rambles for later if anyone's curious, but otherwise this is just to show Onyx off.

(Fun fact she's named after the stuffed dragon I keep in my bed and her boyfriend is named after an old beloved dog I used to have.)

I decided to combine 3 things

The first 2 are Pokemon, a Mewtwo and a Zoroark

The last one is what basically was sort of an inspiration for this design while not copying any major elements from this design:

i went with the desert oasis prompt and came up with a silly bearded dragon lookin thing that keeps water on its back by mixing it with some kinda mucus . idk . fish probably end up in there every now and then

My fakemon for the Truegreen7 starter design contest

I didn't end up winning but it was fun designing them. I'm really proud at how they came out, especially Jestorch. I might redesign all of them or at least draw more f them in the future because I really like them.

Honestly I was banking on at least getting an honorable mention for Obsurfer and Perseaver's names but he didn't have any honorable mentions ;(

In celebration of 200+ followers (again, thank you guys so much!!) I’ll be hosting another design contest!

The rules are exactly the same as my last one, but in case you’re new here (or just don’t remember, I had to look back myself), I’ll list them here.

You’ll design a mew/two character based on the image I give you.

2. You’ll submit them by re-blogging this post with your art.

3. Enter by commenting on this post.

4. The winner(s) get a free drawing of one of their characters from me! It will at least be fully colored. Depending on how many people join, the number of winners will increase.

5. I will be judging based on design creativity, not your art skill. Don’t be afraid to join even if you think you can’t draw!

6. The deadline is pretty loose, but as long as you get it done in around 2 weeks (about June 12) then you should be good. Of course, if you need an extension just DM me! I’d be willing to allow an extra week ^^

When you get caught sneaking around the wrong territory and immediately pick a fight with the deputy, Stagprance already didn't like Burrowclan cats but now forever holds a grudge against a random apprentice (also no Wolverinepaw didn't know that was the deputy)

Also little Asterchime cameo at the end who belongs to @/bugbeanss, they're all from @/princce_q design contest (all on Instagram).

Designed a little outfit for @fourleafisland ‘s costume contest! The base drawing of Critter I used here is provided by them for the contest :)

The flags on the left tail spell out “Clover” in the nautical flag alphabet, while the red and white flags were inspired by “shy guy says” from Mario Party 😅. I LOVE diving helmets but it would cover a lot of the character so I made it inflatable and translucent!
